JANET'S STORY
Born and raised in Brooklyn New York. Both
parents Doris Mendez and Victor Mendez took part in the upbringing of a tough opinionated Latina in the heart of NYC. Raised in a household with her sister Anel Mendez and Victor Mendez Jr., being the youngest helped to groom Janet's spoiled yet hard working ways. Out of high school Janet was potentially going to attend Virginia State University, but stayed close to home and attended Hunter College where she raised her first child Star Bethea. After college Janet took the NYPD exam and opted out for a position at Citibank Corporate following in her sisters footsteps at the time. Three years post grad Janet attends a party at Jade Terrace (China Club) where she meets Kenneth and here we are 19 Years later.
KENNETH'S STORY
Born and Raised in The Bronx New York. Both parents Stephanie Joseph and Kenneth Aytch Sr. raised a well mannered and high esteemed Black man in the soul of NYC. Raised in a household with 2 sisters one older Shameria Aytch and one younger Ebony Aytch, being the middle child groomed Kenneth to become well balanced and a protector at a young age. Out of high school Kenneth was potentially going to attend Virginia State University, but stayed close to home and attended Felician College & Mount St Mary College where he became "Get Right". After college Kenneth took the NYPD exam and opted out for a position at Hands On PT following in his sisters footsteps at the time.
Three years post grad Kenneth attends a party at Jade Terrace (China Club) where he meets Janet and here we are 19 Years later.
